State-of-the-art surgical procedures that are safe and effective.

Anesthesia

We take anesthesia cases very seriously and utilize a safe, multi-modal approach for each animal we treat. We use a combination of pre-op assessments, modern anesthetic agents, and the latest anesthetic monitoring equipment to keep your pet safe and the risks of surgery low. Our recovering pet patients have fewer side effects, multi-modal pain control, and faster postoperative recovery.

Spay & Neuter

Spaying or neutering your pet is an important decision for pet owners. Removal of the male or female reproductive organs prevents unwanted pregnancies and reproductive cancers from threatening your pet's life. We offer spay and neuter surgery as part of your pet's preventative wellness care.

Soft Tissue Surgery

Our veterinarians are experienced in various soft tissue pet surgeries, the most routinely performed procedures being spay/neuters and mass/tumor removals. Other examples of veterinary soft tissue surgeries include intestinal and gastric foreign body removal, laceration and wound repair, eye surgery, specialized surgeries, perineal urethrostomy, mastectomy, and splenectomy.

Mass Removal

Although masses are most common in older pets, all tumorous growths should be evaluated by one of our skilled professionals. Your pet’s doctor will utilize key diagnostic processes to identify the cause of the mass and explain the possible treatment options with you. Pet mass removals are usually performed under general anesthesia, allowing us to remove the entire affected area thus decreasing the chance of recurrence.

Cryosurgery

Cryosurgery utilizes a device for delivery of liquified nitrous oxide, which allows our doctors to pinpoint the treatment site for rapid freezing and effective destruction of unwanted tissue, without damaging the surrounding tissues. This treatment is appropriate for a variety of small, benign dermatologic growths, has a high success rate, and usually does not require general anesthesia.

Laser Surgery

Many of our procedures are done utilizing our surgical laser. The laser minimizes bleeding, pain, and infection. All surgical procedures are done under the safest conditions, monitored by EKGs, pulse oximeters, cardiac monitors, and supported by intravenous fluid therapy.

Dental Surgery

Many dental surgeries can be avoided with consistent, life-long preventative care. Our doctors are well versed in providing owners with a preventative blueprint to help achieve a healthy mouth throughout their lives. Should oral surgery be needed, we have one of only a few hundred board-certified veterinary dentists in the world on staff to provide the optimal care your pet deserves.

Microchipping

Should I microchip my pet? Every year thousands of pets go missing. Even the most responsible pet owners experience broken leashes, escape artists, and thefts. Microchipping is a safe, effective, and permanent way to identify your pet in the event they get lost or stolen.
