Dr. Jennifer Ramirez - Veterinarian

Dr. Ramirez graduated from LSU Veterinary School in 2007 and has worked in several states, but she is a native of Slidell and is thrilled to be practicing back home in Louisiana!

Dr. Ramirez has practiced emergency medicine, was a consultant for several large veterinary pharmaceutical companies, worked with many veterinary schools in addition to practicing small animal medicine, and has been fortunate to work with one of the largest boxer rescue organizations in the country.

She loves geriatric and internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and the relationships formed with her patients’ owners. Dr. Ramirez is a member of the AVMA, LVMA, American Heartworm Society and is Fear Free Certified. In her free time, she loves to travel, is a diehard LSU fan, and loves spending time with her family, friends, and her boxer, Prada.
